Product description
Speyburn Distillery, built in 1897 by John Hopkin & Co., is today the largest distillery in the Inver House Distillers portfolio.
The expansion, completed in 2015, increased the distilling capacity of the plant to 4.5 million litres of alcohol per year. Speyburn is a key component of all Inver House blends, and as a single malt it is experiencing greater popularity overseas than in Europe. The 15-year-old was launched in autumn 2017 as part of the core range, but its supply remains limited to 3,500 cases per year for the coming years. Bottled at 46% abv and without chill filtration, the whisky is a combination of spirits aged in bourbon and sherry casks.
