It is a tribute to the history of traditional rye whiskey. Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey has a distinctive, spicy character and a long, sweet and spicy finish. It balances the classic taste of rye whiskey with heavier notes of spice, tobacco, as well as fruit, flowers and sweetness. Straight Rye whiskey tastes great on its own, on the rocks or in cocktails such as an Old Fashioned or Rye Manhattan.
In 2020, this rye whiskey won a gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition .

History of the distillery
The Woodford Reserve Distillery dates back to 1812: the birthplace of bourbon. The distillery's reputation is built on its heritage and adherence to traditional recipes and methods . It was here that James Crow perfected the "Sour Mash" process in 1838, which is still used to produce bourbon today .
In 1995, Woodford Reserve Distillery was officially listed by the U.S. government on the National Register of Historic Places . Five years later – in 2000 – it was declared a National Historic Landmark .

INGREDIENTS:
- 60 ml Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey
- 20 ml sweet vermouth
- 3 dashes Angostura® bitters
- Candied cherry
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Pour ingredients into a bar glass, add ice and stir gently for 10-15 seconds .
- Strain and pour into a chilled cocktail glass .
- Garnish with a cherry.
