The Langlander is a Polish single malt whisky produced by the Piasecki Distillery based in Tomaszkowo near Olsztyn.
It is a 100% Polish drink, distilled from domestic grain and aged in Polish oak barrels for at least three years. The whisky is bottled with a natural color, with an alcohol content of 43%. The Piasecki Distillery has been operating since the mid-1960s and is a valued producer of mead, vodka and honey liqueurs. Langlander debuted in January 2017 with a limited edition of 2,350 bottles.
Aroma: cereal, green apples, vanilla, ground pepper, notes of garden herbs and oak.
Taste : slightly spirit-like, breakfast cereals, vanilla, milk chocolate, a bit of allspice and herbs.
Finish : not too long, grainy, with notes of vanilla, herbal spices and oak.
