Eden Mill was established in 2012 and was Scotland's first combined brewery and distillery, producing whisky, gin and beer.

The company is based in St Andrews, a famous golf resort, not far from where the Haig family's Seggie Distillery operated from 1810 to 1860. Eden Mill has three copper stills and can produce 80,000 litres of distillate a year. Eden Mill Original Gin debuted in 2015. The key ingredients in its formula are juniper berries, angelica root, coriander seed, sea buckthorn berries, lemon balm and citrus peel. According to the manufacturer, it is a version of London dry gin with a St Andrews accent. In 2021, due to environmental concerns, the company abandoned the characteristic stoneware bottles in favour of glass.

Eden Mill Original Gin is a wonderfully balanced gin; in the aromatic bouquet we find strong notes of juniper complemented by orange and lemon peel, cinnamon and cloves. In the taste again juniper, lemons, grapefruits, a pinch of pepper and coriander and some blueberries. We recommend serving with premium tonic and a slice of grapefruit or with raspberry lemonade.
