Tequila Los Arango is a memory of the hero of the Mexican Revolution, José Doroteo Arango, known as Pancho Villa.
As the story goes, Mexican Robin Hood was given a bottle of tequila distilled according to a special formula by a farmer. The hero liked the drink so much that he asked the distiller to put his name on the label. Today, Los Arango is produced by the Tequila Corralejo company owned by Leonardo Rodriguez Moreno in the Hacienda Corralejo built in the mid-18th century. Los Arango is produced 100% from the hearts of the blue agave, which takes eight years to harvest. The Reposado version is aged for six months in American oak barrels with a capacity of 10,000 liters and a medium degree of roasting.
