In 2004, French luxury goods manufacturer Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy purchased Glenmorangie plc for £300 million.
Three years later, its sales offer has been re-presented, as well as several significant debuts, including the 25-year-old version. Glenmorangie Quarter of Century is composed of distillates aged in bourbon, sherry and red Burgundy barrels in proportions that guarantee the finished product perfect balance and a full range of aromas and flavors. Glenmorangie single malts are experiencing excellent sales dynamics, which has increased by 82% over the last five years, which translates into 5.9 million bottles per year.
Nose : very elegant and complex, apricots, oranges, raspberries, plums, vanilla, honey, roasted nuts, nutmeg, traces of oak and peat and furniture polishing wax.
Palate : rich and creamy, honey, vanilla, toffee, orange peel, apricots, mirabelle jam, nut nougat, traces of cloves and nutmeg, delicate oak bitterness.
Finish : long, lots of oak bitterness and spices, quite subdued notes of vanilla and honey.
