Product description

Rum from Oliver & Oliver, a company founded in the mid-19th century by Juanillo Oliver.

It owes its name to the way it was first brought to Spain, in the suitcase of notary Fernando de Mora, bypassing customs. This happened in 1998. Contrabando is a high-quality aged rum from the Dominican Republic, a blend of distillates matured for five years in the solera system, in barrels of American and French oak. It has won many awards at international competitions of aged spirits.

Aroma: Full and rich, sweet, notes of vanilla and tropical fruits.

Palate: Caramel, vanilla, tropical fruits, some oak, spices.

Finish: Medium long, fruit and oak.
