Product description
The history of Barceló rums begins in 1929, when 25-year-old Julián Barceló left his native Spain, came to Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic and founded Barceló & Co.
His ambition is to create the best rum in the world. Success does not come immediately, but after years of experimentation, Barceló Blanco and Dorado are introduced to the market, gaining international recognition. Today, Barceló rum is available in over 50 countries around the world, and the Dominican producer is the fourth largest exporter of rum in the world.
Barceló Blanco Añejado rum is a white rum from the Dominican Republic, matured for about a year in oak barrels. A pure, white rum, whose bouquet brings to mind accents of sugar cane, delicate sweetness, mint, spices and nuts. Perfect for rum-based cocktails.
