Product description
In 1990, Janet Sheed Roberts, granddaughter of William Grant, opened the Kininvie Distillery.
The distillery was to relieve Glenfiddich and Balvenie and produce for the company's blends. Currently, Kininvie is a key ingredient in Monkey Shoulder blended malt, accounting for 80% of the formula. Kininvie single malt debuted in Taiwan in 2013 with a 23-year-old edition. Two years later, an absolutely unique 25-year-old version, The First Drops, was released. It was made from three bourbon hogshead casks filled on the first day of operation, July 4, 1990. Cask no. 8 was bottled for Taiwan, cask no. 20 for Europe, and cask no. 21 for the UK. Our whisky comes from cask no. 20; after 25 years, its content has translated into 650 350ml bottles.
