Product description
Catoctin Creek is a micro-distillery based in Purceville, Virginia founded in 2009 by Becky and Scott Harris.
It is the first distillery in Loudoun County to open since Prohibition. The name “Catoctin” comes from the language of the Kittocton people who historically inhabited the area and is said to mean “place where deer live.” Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye is an extraordinary whiskey, both organic and kosher, distilled from 100% rye. It is a young spirit, aged for about two years, mostly in small 30-gallon Minnesota oak barrels. The supply of Roundstone Rye is limited, with the plant producing about 40,000 bottles per year.
