Finlaggan Port Finished / 46%/ 0.7l
- Finlaggan has been a favorite topic of many whisky forums for quite some time.
Product description
For years, the Finlaggan brand has been one of the favourite topics of participants in whisky forums.
It belongs to The Vintage Malt Whisky Company, which does not disclose the source of the whisky, only ensuring that it is always supplied by the same distillery. Some forum users claim it is Lagavulin, others bet on Caol Ila, still others Ardbeg or Laphroaig. However, everyone agrees that Finlaggan is a solid whisky at a low price. In 2016, we saw Finlaggan finished in wine barrels for the first time, and the one presented here spent its last months in port barrels.
Nose : peat smoke, smoked bacon with a hint of maple syrup, dark chocolate, toffee, red berries and rosehip jam.
