Product description
The Dubliner brand debuted in 2015 in the Quintessential Brands portfolio and heralded the company’s strong entry into the Irish whiskey sector.
Initially a standard blend, the range was soon joined by a single malt and the Dubliner Whiskey & Honeycomb ("whiskey with honeycomb") presented here. It was created by Darryl McNally, master distiller of Quintessential Brands, who previously worked for Bushmills Distillery for 20 years (he also came up with Bushmills Irish Honey). The company claims that the inspiration for the brand is the famous Dubliner, author of "Ulysses", James Joyce. The Dubliner Whiskey & Honeycomb is made of whiskey, honey and caramel (the company does not disclose the proportions) and bottled at 30% abv. It is produced in the Dublin Liberties Distillery, which belongs to Quintessential Brands.
