Product description
Over the last decade, the category of so-called flavored whiskies and liqueurs based on them has taken the market by storm.
It seems that the Wild Turkey distillery was ahead of the trend by a good few decades, as its Wild Turkey Liquor with Honey (a liqueur combining local bourbon with honey) debuted in 1976. It had a group of devoted fans, but it certainly couldn't be called a market hit. In 2007, it made its second debut, this time as Wild Turkey American Honey, bottled with an alcohol content raised to 35.5% (originally 30%). The company also changed the presentation to an eye-catching, modern bottle. Sales of Wild Turkey American Honey remain at a steady 300,000 cases per year.
