Product description
Since its debut in 1939, Crown Royal has remained a proud symbol of Canadian whisky.
Sam Bronfman, its creator and then president of Seagram, is said to have conducted about 600 tests before approving the final formula. Despite having an 11% share of the global spirits market, Seagram sold its Wine & Spirits division in 2001 and invested in the film industry. Crown Royal is currently in the Diageo brand portfolio and with annual sales of 8.1 million cases (2020) it is the company's second best-selling whisky. The most popular version of Crown Royal is the Fine De Luxe presented here, made from about 50 different whiskies distilled at the company's Gimli Distillery in Manitoba.
