Product description
Sestante is a name that sends shivers down the spines of whisky connoisseurs and collectors. The legendary Italian importer (and later bottler) operated in the whisky market from the late 1970s to the early 1990s.
Currently, Sestante editions are considered "white crows" and are in the hands of whisky collectors, who very rarely decide to get rid of them. In 2000, the Silver Seal company was founded, considered the spiritual successor of Sestante. The rights to both brands have been held by Massimo Righi for several years, and one of the whisky lines he offers is called The Sestante Collection . The Glen Mhor 1963, 24 years old presented here was bottled in the final period of Sestante's activity, in the late 1980s. Scottish poet and writer Neil Gunn considered Glen Mhor to be the ideal whisky, writing: "until you have the good fortune to taste a perfectly mature whisky, you don't really know what a drink is."
