Product description
The history of the Malecon brand began in the 1990s, when Marco Savio started working in his father's company.
The company was involved in the production of typical liqueurs and the import of coffee for the Italian market. In search of the best coffee suppliers, Marco began traveling around Central America, where he soon met a man involved in blending rum and introduced him to the world of rum. The Malecon rum brand was named after one of the streets in Havana. This is a reference to the traditional Cuban methods of rum production, which are still cultivated in the Caribbean Spirits rum factory located in Panami. Malecon offers a wide range of rums - from young, budget items to aged, aged rums, as well as special editions. Malecon 15yo Reserva Superior is a molasses-based rum, left in oak barrels after American bourbon for 15 years.
