Product description

Don Julio 1942 is a tequila añejo created to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the opening of Don Julio’s distillery.

In the production process, perfected by the tequila makers in the Highland region of Jalisco, seven-year-old agaves are hand-picked, then baked in traditional stone ovens for 70 hours. The tequila is double distilled in special pot stills made of stainless steel.

Nose: Butterscotch, vanilla, some oak and notes of agave

Palate: Caramel, toffee, vanilla, agave, a hint of oak

Finish: Exceptionally long, with notes of caramel, toffee and vanilla
