Product description
Penderyn single malt debuted in 2004 and over the next 12 years its sales grew to 200,000 bottles.
In 2013-14 the plant underwent a costly £1m expansion, raising its production capacity from 90,000 to 300,000 litres of distillate per year. Penderyn Sherrywood, made from distillates aged in bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks, joined the range in 2008. The whisky has no age statement, although in October 2008 a company spokesman said that the average age of Penderyn was between 43/4 and 51/2 years.
