Grüner Veltliner 2023 This wine is a blend of grapes selected from several of the best vineyards in the Wachau region (such as Liebenberg, Kellerberg, and Kollmutz)—hence its name, “Unendlich” (German.“infinite”) signifying an ambition for a style that transcends individual plots.Fermentation and aging took place partly in large oak barrels with a capacity of approx..500 liters, with some new barrels, which lend structure and character while preserving the wine’s energy and freshness.
Appearance: medium greenish-yellow color with silvery highlights.
Aroma: rich and multi-layered—green apple, citrus (lime, citrus zest), meadow herbs, notes of vanilla and lanolin, and a subtle hint of dates and caramel in the background.
Taste: full-bodied, concentrated, with intense minerality, elegant acidity, and a spicy hint of white pepper; the finish is long and distinctive.
