Teremana is a project by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, better known for his WWE wrestling appearances or acting roles in films such as The Mummy Returns, The Scorpion King and The Fast and the Furious series (parts 5-8).
Tequila Teremana is produced in the Teremana de Agave distillery, located in the town of Jesus Maria in the southern part of the Los Altos highlands in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It is made from 100% blue agave, the hearts of which are baked in traditional brick ovens, and distilled twice in handmade traditional copper stills. The reposado and añejo editions are matured in oak barrels from American bourbon, while the blanco edition is bottled immediately after the distillation process. Tequila Teremana is made in small batches, bottled in individually numbered bottles.
Nose : Roasted agave, citrus, black pepper, earthy, vegetal notes, smoke, vanilla, cinnamon.
Taste : Roasted agave, black pepper, citrus, vanilla, mineral and earthy accents, medical notes.
