The Teelings are a family with a distilling tradition dating back to 1782, when Walter Teeling opened his own distillery in Dublin.

Over 200 years later, John Teeling purchased an ethanol facility and converted it to whiskey distilling. Cooley Distillery remained family-owned for nearly a quarter of a century, and after selling it to Jim Beam Global, John Teeling and his sons began the Teeling Whiskey Company as an Independent Bottler. It is an open secret that Teeling whiskey, both malt and grain, comes from Cooley Distillery. The Teeling Small Batch presented here is a whiskey blended from 35% malt and 65% grain, aged in bourbon barrels and finished in rum barrels. We add two tasting glasses to the bottle.

Aroma : sweet, golden syrup, vanilla, cornflakes, coconut flakes, bananas, allspice, freshly cut grass and apple blossom.

Taste: sweet with a hint of spice, vanilla, honey, brown sugar, bananas, a touch of cinnamon and nutmeg and a light grassy note.

Finish : medium long, vanilla, caramel, raisins, dried fruit and oak.
