Product description
Pulteney Distillery, built in 1826, is based in the market town of Wick.
It was named after Sir William Pulteney, who in 1810 made Wick a model fishing port. The distillery is equipped with one pair of stills capable of distilling 1.8 million liters of alcohol per year. Since 1995, Pulteney has belonged to Inver House Distillers, which in turn is part of the Thai International Beverage Holdings. Old Pulteney is the most popular single malt from the Inver House portfolio, with sales of 700,000 bottles in 2021. The Old Pulteney 13 years old presented here debuted in April 2023 in the offer for the Global Travel Retail network. The whisky was aged in American oak barrels and finished in Spanish oak barrels.
