Product description
Jean Antonin Renault, a 25-year-old businessman from Charentais, founded Maison Renault in the city of Cognac in 1835.
Renault was ahead of its time; it was the first to abandon the transport of its cognac in barrels in favor of bottles, which guaranteed the preservation of the original aromatic and flavor palette. Since 2010, Renault cognacs have been owned by the Finnish company Altia, which acquired the brand from Pernod Ricard for 10 million euros. Renault Avec is a proposition for coffee lovers. It is a blend of eaux-de-vie from the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne and Fins Bois regions aged for three to eight years. In 2018, this cognac won a silver medal at the Cognac Masters competition.
