Product description
The Connoisseurs Choice series is the brainchild of George Urquhart, a second-generation member of the family who owned Gordon & MacPhail and a great whisky visionary.
Since 1968, the series has featured nearly 100 distilleries, presenting nearly 2,000 editions in total. In 2018, the company redesigned Connoisseurs Choice, giving it a more contemporary, elegant look, and also included cask strength and wood finishes. The Glencadam featured here, distilled in 1991, spent 28 years in a refilled puncheon sherry cask no. 6031901, and was bottled at cask strength (41% abv) and unchill-filtered as batch 21/019 in November 2020. The edition consisted of 290 bottles. (Producer's note.)
