Product description

Wilson & Morgan was founded in 1992 by Fabio Rossi, a member of a famous Venetian wine merchant family.

In 1960, his father Mario began importing blended Scotch whisky, and around 20 years later, he expanded the range to include single malts. Fabio, who heads the family company, selects the barrels himself. An oenologist by education, he is guided by one principle when choosing whisky – trust your own senses and instincts. The Linkwood presented here, distilled in 1989, spent around 10 years in sherry casks, and was bottled in 1999 at 46% abv in the Barrel Selection series.

Nose : sherry, honey-roasted almonds, raisins, plums, apricots, milk chocolate, caramel, marzipan, allspice, notes of wax and resin, peat and oak.

Palate: roasted nuts and almonds, raisins, chocolate-covered plums, toffee, honey, orange peel, nutmeg, notes of ginger, sherry and oak.

Finish: quite long, with notes of nuts and almonds, chocolate, ginger, nutmeg, sherry, a bit of peat and oak.
