After the end of the First World War, Peyrat expanded his business to include wine and spirits. Today, the fourth generation of the family runs the company, offering rums and whiskies in addition to cognacs. Villa Nº16 is distilled in France in the Charente region from French barley, aged for the first three years in French and American oak barrels, then finished in Pineau des Charentes and Peyrat cognac barrels. The whisky is released at 43% abv and without chill filtration.
