Product description
The Cooper's Choice is a range of single malt and single grain whiskies from the portfolio of The Vintage Malt Whisky Company, founded in 1992 by Brian Crook.
The Cooper's Choice debuted a year later and pays tribute to the coopers, whose role in Scotch whisky is often underestimated. Auchroisk 10 year old is the 2021 cooper's choice - distilled in July 2010, aged in American oak barrels, finished in Pineau des Charentes cask no. 805482 and bottled at cask strength (56% abv) and without chill filtration in an edition of 306 bottles. Auchroisk Distillery is based in Speyside and was founded in 1974. Owned by Diageo, it produces almost 6 million litres of distillate per year from four pairs of stills.
