Product description
Fred Laing's XOP series debuted in 2014, a dozen or so months after the division of Douglas Laing & Co.'s assets between the two Laing brothers.
XOP stands for Xtra Old Particular and refers to the finest single malt and single grain casks from the family’s stockpile. This Glen Garioch 35 years old is the crème de la crème of the XOP collection. Distilled in May 1986, it spent three and a half decades in a refill hogshead cask no. DL 15060. Bottled in June 2021 at cask strength (50.5% abv) without chill filtration in a limited edition of just 125 bottles. (Producer’s tasting note.)
