Product description
Gold Bar whiskey is an idea of Elliott Gillespie, founder of Gold Bar Whiskey Company in California.
Gold Bar is a blend of whiskeys sourced mainly from Kentucky and Indiana and to lesser extend from Texas (the final mashbill is 88% corn, 9% rye and 3% malted barley). The blend is then finished in French oak Cabernet Sauvignon casks in the San Francisco Bay area and bottled at 40% abv in a replica of gold bar. Each bottle of Gold Bar whiskey features an iconic ‘Lady of Fortune’ solid brass coin. This replica collector-grade coin is hand-pressed onto each individual bottle. The coin is a symbol of true American craftsmanship and the company history. Gold Bar Original scored Double Gold at the 2016 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
