Product description
The Cooper's Choice is a range of single malt and single grain whiskies from the portfolio of The Vintage Malt Whisky Company, founded in 1992 by Brian Crook.
The Cooper's Choice debuted a year later and pays tribute to the coopers, whose role in Scotch whisky is often underestimated. The Skara Brae 12 year old presented here is the 2017 "cooper's choice". This time the distillery is not revealed, only its location - Orkney. Distilled in June 2005, the whisky was aged in a No. 27 bourbon cask and bottled at 46% abv and without chill filtration in an edition of 460 bottles. Skara Brae is a Neolithic stone settlement located on Skaill Bay on the western side of Orkney's largest island, Mainland.
