Product description
Dos Maderas rums are blends of spirits from Barbados and Guyana, where some of the best rums in the world come from.
The Barbados rums and light and smooth, whereas those from Guyana have considerably more body, and are perfect for using in blends to give the final product this extra dimension. Such a blend of rums matures in traditional American oak casks, which previously held American bourbon. After that period of maturation in the Caribbean climate, they are transported to Spain, to the Williams & Humbert Bodega in Jerez de la Frontera, one of the largest wineries in the world. They are transferred to oak casks that previously held Dos Cortados or Don Guido sherry, each of which had spent at least 20 years in the wood.
Dos Maderas Seleccion Triple Aged is a blend spirits matured for 10 years in three types of barrels, including those that previously held sweet Pedro Ximenez sherry, in a solera system.
