Marcati Gin Arancia Rossa di Sicilia / Italy / 42% / 0.7l
Product description
The history of the Marcati house began in 1919, when the brothers Pietro and Luigi, after returning from the Great War, took over the historic Veronella pharmacy. Pietro, enterprising and boldly looking to the future, took up the production of alcohols, using centuries of knowledge. Even the crisis in 1929 did not break the founder's spirit and dreams, Pietro decided to move to Verona, where he established the company's first industrial plant. Another blow - World War II devastated the company's plantings, but again in 1946 the company resumed its activity, when Giuseppe - Pietro's son, continued his father's work with no less determination. After another 10 years of activity, the company's headquarters was moved to Sommacampagna, where, thanks to the consolidation of the activities, the Marcati house entered the economic boom of the 1960s with full readiness, allowing the whole world to get to know its extraordinary products. In 1978, when the old company was taken over by the third generation, another leap in quality occurred – the company bought prestigious brands and boldly faced the challenges of new markets and globalization.
Today, this initially small, family-owned company is present in over 40 countries around the world, cultivating traditions in the production of liqueurs and spirits, but unequivocally remaining open to new trends and experiments. Faith and courage have allowed the company to develop for over 100 years, focusing on tradition, quality and innovation. All this together creates the soul that we can feel in the outstanding products of the Marcati house.
