Product description
Triskelion is the creation of three legendary Highland Park master distillers whose combined careers span more than a century – Gordon Motion (21 years), Max McFarlane (44 years) and John Ramsay (43 years). The masters based their creation on three types of first-fill casks: a sherry butt (Spanish oak), a sherry hogshead (American oak) and a bourbon cask. (A small number of refill casks were also used to achieve the perfect balance of aroma and flavour.) The whisky is named after a triangular symbol from Norse mythology, signifying wisdom and inspiration. It is possible that the sides of the triangle represent the three masters to whom Highland Park owes its current fame.
