Product description
Old Raven Distillery was established in 2004 and is one of the pioneers of Austrian whisky production.
The plant is located in the Lafnitz Valley, in the former premises of the Hungarian customs office. Water for production is drawn from the Raven Well (Rabenbrunnen) from a depth of 98 meters, and Charly, a domesticated raven, watches over the calm maturation of the local distillates. Old Raven whisky is triple distilled from "unpeated" malt (85%) and "peated" malt (15%) and aged in bourbon barrels (American oak) and sherry barrels (European oak). The 2012 edition presented here was bottled with a natural color and without cold filtration.
