Product description
P&H Egan Ltd., founded in 1852 in Tullamore by Patrick and Henry Egan, was one of the main players in the distribution of food and beverages, including alcohol.
It had its own malting and bottling plants, and before World War II it bottled Jameson and Paddy whiskeys, among other things, and produced carbonated drinks. The 1960s and the development of international corporations, with which it was no longer able to compete, brought an end to its success. In 2013, the company was reactivated by the heirs of Patrick Egan and a family friend John Ralph. Egan's single malt debuted in 2013 as a new whiskey brand. The 10-year-old single malt presented here most likely comes from Cooley Distillery.
