Product description
With annual sales of 4.3 million cases, Beefeater ranks fourth in the statistics of the most popular gins (2018).
The Beefeater Blood Orange London Gin presented here debuted in March 2019 and is the latest version of the brand. Its inspiration is Jim Burrough, the creator of the brand, who in 1876 developed a gin formula, where, alongside classic botanicals, he used oranges purchased at the legendary London Covent Garden market. Beefeater Blood Orange is the creation of master distiller Desmond Payne, a pioneer of modern gin. In addition to blood oranges, the formula also includes juniper berries, lemon peel, Seville oranges, almonds, coriander seeds, orris and licorice roots, and angelica seeds and root. Since 2005, the Beefeater brand has been in the Pernod Ricard portfolio and is produced in Kennington, London.
Beefeater Blood Orange combines classic notes of juniper and angelica with citrus, especially beautifully woven, bitter-sweet blood orange. It tastes best served with tonic or ginger ale, necessarily with a slice of blood orange.
