Product description
Mombasa Club Gin is a memory of the glory years of the British Empire during the time of Queen Victoria.
In the 1880s, a group of British officers were stationed in the strategic Kenyan port of Mombasa. They formed an officers' club, where they exchanged opinions or relaxed while sipping gin and tonic. Modern Mombasa Gin is distilled in small batches at the Thames Distillery in London, then transported to Spain, where it is diluted and bottled. Its base is triple-distilled grain spirit. Distribution rights are held by Unesdi Distribuciones SA. We do not know the full list of ingredients of the gin, but they certainly include juniper berries, cumin and coriander seeds, cassia bark, cloves and angelica root. The formula of the Lemon Edition presented here also includes lemons from the Mediterranean basin.
Mombasa Club Lemon Edition combines traditional notes of London Dry gin, juniper, pine needles and coriander with juicy lemons. We recommend serving with just a few ice cubes or with premium tonic water with a wedge of lemon and a sprig of mint.
