Product description
Speyburn Hopkins Reserve, named after distillery founder John Hopkins, debuted in 2018.
The whisky was matured in American white oak barrels previously used to mature smoky and peaty spirits and is the first Speyburn with a slightly smoky profile. The distillery was built in 1897 and has been owned by Inver House Distillers since 1991. An expansion completed in 2015 increased the distilling capacity of the distillery to 4.5 million litres of alcohol per year. Speyburn is a key component of all Inver House blends, as a single malt it is enjoying greater popularity overseas than in Europe. The Hopkins Reserve presented here is available exclusively from Travel Retail.
