Product description
Glenfarclas The Family Casks collection was launched in 2007 and featured whiskies from the finest casks the distillery had in stock, bottled in its natural state.
The collection consisted of 43 bottles, each containing a different vintage of whisky, distilled between 1952 and 1994. The Family Casks was an absolutely unique edition, without parallel, offering a cross-section of the distillery’s 43 years of activity. The Glenfarclas 1982 presented here is a continuation of that ambitious project, part of the next stage of The Family Casks collection. Aged in a refill sherry hogshead cask no. 2215, the contents of which on 24th January 2017 amounted to 203 bottles of cask strength whisky (55.5% abv).
