Product description
Edradour Distillery was founded by local farmers as cooperative in 1825. After almost 200 years of whisky making it’s distilling capacity is roughly 130,000 liters of spirit per annum.
Since 2002 Edradour Distillery has been owned by one of the leading Independent Bottlers, Signatory Vintage Co. Each year the distillery releases several limited editions aged and finished in various types of wood. The whisky presented here was distilled in December 1995 and originally aged in ex-bourbon hogsheads. In February 2005 it was reracked into three first fill ex-Oloroso sherry butts for further 12 years. Bottled at natural strength of 56.2% abv in 2017 with an outrun of 2027 bottles.
