Product description
Mackillop's Choice is a range of whiskies, generally bottled in single cask form, from the portfolio of Iain Mackillop & Co, a subsidiary of Angus Dundee Distillers established in 1996.
The casks are selected by Lorne Mackillop, heir to the Mackillop clan, a member of the Institute of Masters of Wine, and the youngest person to be awarded the honorary title of Master of Wine. The Dalmore presented here is the content of cask no. 7631, filled on 5 September 1989. In March 2014, its contents translated into 282 bottles of whisky bottled at cask strength (51.2% abv) and without chill filtration. The Dalmore distillery is based in Alness in the northern Highlands and produces 4 million litres of distillate per year.
