Product description
Laphroaig is undoubtedly the most popular island whisky of the new century with annual sales exceeding 3.5 million bottles (closest rivals Bowmore and Lagavulin sell around 3.8 million bottles combined).
Laphroaig’s latest offering is The 1815 Legacy Edition, which debuted in April 2017 at Travel Retail. It’s the creation of master distiller John Campbell, a nod to the distillery’s 200-year heritage. The whisky is blended from spirits aged in first-fill bourbon barrels and finished in European oak hogsheads, and bottled without an age statement at 48% abv.
