Product description
Waterford Distillery is one of the brightest stars in the pantheon of Irish whiskey producers.
This young establishment, an investment by Mark Reynier, previously one of the co-owners of the Bruichladdich distillery, began operation in December 2015 equipped with two stills and one distillation column. Waterford has enjoyed great success with the "Single Farm Origin" series, which consists of whiskies distilled from barley from individual Irish farmers. The beginning of 2023 brought the presented Cuvée Argot, this time distilled from barley from farmers cooperating with the distillery and aged in bourbon barrels (37%), American virgin oak (19%), French oak barrels (19%) and Vin doux Naturel barrels (25%). The name "Argot" refers to slang, known only to the initiated.
