Product description
The Glenlivet 12 years old is not only one of the most popular single malts in the world, but also one of the longest-produced, having been released in 1933, just after the repeal of Prohibition in the United States.
In the global single malt sales ranking, Glenlivet ranks second with 14.5 million bottles (2018), but overseas it has almost always held the lead, outdoing its eternal rival Glenfiddich, which recorded global sales of 16.8 million bottles in 2018. The Double Oak presented here is the latest incarnation of Glenlivet 12 years old (2019), a whisky blended from distillates aged in bourbon and sherry casks.
