Campbeltown Loch is a blended whisky from J.&A. Mitchell & Company portfolio produced at Springbank Distillery.
The key malt components of the blend are Springbank and Longrow and the malt whisky content reaches 40%. Although the whisky is bottled without age statement the components are aged for five years. Campbeltown Loch scored the “Highest Recommendation” award at the 2014 Ultimate Beverage Challenge. The whisky is named after a sea loch toward the southern end of the Kintyre peninsula that created safe natural harbor. During Campbeltown glory days hundreds of thousands casks of whisky were shipped from the loch to the Scottish mainland and abroad.
