Henry McKenna bourbon has been produced at Heaven Hill Distillery since 1976 (previously the brand was owned by Seagram). It is Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon, a product of one distillation season from a single distillery, aged in bonded warehouse under US government supervision for at least four years and bottled at 100 US Proof (50% abv). Henry McKenna shares mashbill with many other Heaven Hill brands, 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley. It is named after an Irish immigrant, who came to America in 1837, founded distillery in Fairfield, Kentucky in 1855 and launched his bourbon soon after. Our bottle comes from barrel no. 1675 filled on April 23, 2004.
