Tequila Herradura Añejo /40%/ 0.7l
- Tequila Herradura Añejo matured for 25 months to achieve a perfectly balanced flavor and dark amber color. Each bottle is a richness of flavor with distinct notes of agave, fired wood and dried fruit.
Product description
Tequila Herradura Añejo has to wait 25 months, which is 13 months longer than usual. And all this is done so that the tequila matures in American white oak barrels and acquires a wonderfully uniform, balanced taste. As a result, we can enjoy the dark amber color of the tequila with aromas in which notes of agave, spices and plants subtly appear.
Each bottle of Herradura Añejo brings a rich experience of stewed agave, toasted oak and dried fruit.
This variant has been awarded many prizes, of which 18 out of 53 prizes since 2006 are zlotys.
Herradura Añejo Tequila tastes great on its own, on the rocks, or as an ingredient in drinks and cocktails like Horseshoe Margarita or Classic Paloma. It goes well with dishes like steak, mushroom dishes, or chocolate desserts.

How is Tequila Herradura Añejo made?
Unlike other tequila producers, Tequila Herradura uses only natural, air-dried yeast for the four-day fermentation, as well as locally grown fruit. After fermentation, the juices are double-distilled in stainless steel vessels. The tequila then matures in American oak barrels, and finally ends up in our signature bottles.
Brand History
The history of the Herradura brand dates back to the 19th century, when Casa Herradura, one of the most distinguished and oldest tequila producers in Mexico, was founded in Amatitan, Jalisco, Mexico. Since then, bottles of the best tequila ever tasted have been created. It was here that we invented the first Reposado and Anejo, which changed the world of this drink forever. The small town of Amatitan became the center and heart of the tequila industry, and its important role in setting the highest standards continues to this day .
