GlenAllachie New Look

GlenAllachie Distillery today announced a redesign of the whiskeys it produces. The new packaging received simplified, single labels, while retaining the previously adopted color scheme. The cartons in which GlenAllachie whisky is offered have also changed. Prepared by agency Threebrand, the new layout is designed to reflect the evolution of the brand from the release of the first editions in 2018 to the present day, according to its creators.
GlenAllachie's rebranding coincides with the distillery's new marketing message, according to which "whisky is in good hands".
The new marketing giveaway at GlenAllachie also includes sorting out all kinds of limited editions that come out under the distillery's brand name. From now on they will all be part of The Wood Collection series. The first pieces of this collection are expected to appear as early as next month. Their packaging will also receive a new, unified look, but the priority is to release the first batch of the core offerings, namely GlenAllachhie 10yo, 12yo, 15yo and 18yo. The 30yo edition will also be released next month, also in new packaging.
As the manufacturer assures, the only thing that is changing is the packaging design. The contents of the bottles have not changed in the slightest.
GlenAllachie is the fourth distillery to be bought and promoted by a consortium headed by Scottish distilling industry legend Billy Walker. It started with Benriach, GlenDronach and Glenglassaugh, acquired in 2008, 2003 and 2013. In 2016, all three distilleries were bought by the American conglomerate Brown-Forman. In all three cases - with the exception of GlenDronach, which had a relatively strong position as a single malt - unknown or little-known distilleries, producing primarily for blends, were modified in the production sphere and promoted into stand-alone single malt whisky brands.
The same thing happened with GlenAllachie. This relatively young distillery, founded in 1967, was almost completely unknown as a single malt whisky brand, with almost all of its production going to blended whisky producers. In 2017, its then-owner, Chivas Brothers, decided to sell it to the same consortium that had promoted Benriach and Glenglassaugh a few years earlier, and which is still headed by Billy Walker. Quite quickly it grew from an unknown brand to become one of the stars of the Scottish distilling industry and invariably celebrates triumphs to this day.
GlenAllachie is one of more than fifty Scotch malt whisky producers operating in the Speyside region, which has the largest number of distilleries. It is located at the foot of Benrinnes Mountain, near the village of Charlestown of Aberlour. Its closest neighbors are Aberlour, Benrinnes and Craigellachie, as well as Dailuaine and thoroughly modern Dalmunach. The distillery operates a Visitor Center, which includes a store and offers various distillery tours and tasting programs.
The current offerings of the House of Whisky Online include a whole host of GlenAllachie editions, which will soon be joined by those in a new graphic design. Please visit.
