Product description
Nikka Distilling Company is part of Asahi Breweries Ltd., which owns the Yoichi, Miyagikyo and Nishinomiya distilleries, as well as Ben Nevis Scotch.
The company is the second largest producer of alcoholic beverages in Japan. The presented Nikka Black was introduced to the market in 1965 as a top-class Japanese blended whisky. In contrast to Nikka Black Clear, introduced to the market in 1997, it was composed of, among others, distillates made on the basis of peated, and partly even heavily peated whisky. The offered bottle is becoming more and more unique, it was withdrawn from the market and replaced by other versions of Nikka whisky, including Nikka Black Rich Blend and three versions of Nikka Pure Malt.

Taste: Light, with accents of grain, peat smoke, cocoa, a bit of fruit and orange peel.
Finish: Medium long, citrus and toffee accents, covered with echoes of peat smoke.
