Product description
Often referred to as ‘the other Orkney distillery’, Scapa has been producing whisky since 1885, largely in the shadow of its larger neighbour, Highland Park.
Today, the plant is owned by Chivas Bros, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard, and produces over a million litres of spirit per year. The single malt has been bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for years in their Distillery Labels series, with a unique label. The 1998 Vintage from 1999 presented here was a blend of spirits aged in bourbon and refill sherry casks.
